Is it just me, or does anyone else get obsessively fixated on random stuff they find lying around? You see a new concept, and suddenly it’s like, "Why am I so into this?" Well, right now, my brain is locked onto… notebooks. Yep, notebooks. And not just any notebook—I made my own notebook! Yeah, I’m that person now. Crazy, right? But I’m not a chaotic madman: there’s a method to my madness.
Why Did I Make a Notebook?
Let me take you back. I’m a digital junkie. I capture random thoughts, ideas, stories, checklists, evil plans—basically, anything my brain farts out—on digital apps. But… it was starting to feel lifeless, it did not had the personality (I know I’m not making sense). Sure, the apps were optimized to the max for my needs, but I needed a little spice in my life. You know, I’m an Indian, we sacrificed our body-odour to have a spicy falvourfull food.
The Quest for the Perfect Tool
I was craving something new. Something tangible. Something that would make me feel like a genius at work. So, naturally, I listed out my must-haves:
It must be easy to carry—I need to jot down my evil plans to dominate this world on the fly.
Must allow me to seamlessly add visual elements—because sometimes words alone can’t capture the intricacy of time bomb.
Must work without the internet—since Wi-Fi dead zones are where my best ideas live.
No storing my notes in some creepy third-party cloud—optional, I’m not afraid of some secret agency sypying on me, but you get it.
No waiting for boot time—because, my gadgets are total potato.
Elimination
Now, there are tons of tools out there: Obsidian, Notion, Anytype, Evernote, blah blah blah. But as amazing as they are, none of them ticked all the boxes. Either they lagged, crashed, or made me feel like I was handing over my crucial ideas and plans to some shadowy figure in the cloud.
Therefore… I thought, "Screw it, let’s go old school."
The Choosen One…
Yeah, Why not just use a notebook? It’s simple. It’s classic.
Let’s break this down:
It doesn’t need any boot time—you open it, and BOOM, you’re writing. No loading screens, no spinning wheels. Just a blank page waiting for my brilliance.
No cloud—nobody’s peeking at my random thoughts about squirrels making baby.
No internet needed—I’m out in nature, or my Wi-Fi dies, who cares? Here is a fact for you “Mitochondria have their separate DNA, so hypothetically we are in symboite relationship with powerhouses of our cells”_Trust me bro
Visual elements? Check. I can sketch, doodle, and scribble to my heart’s content. Try doing that on an app without needing menus and un-necessary shortcuts button!
…But with a quirk
Alright, here’s where things got sticky. I thought, "I need a notebook pocket-sized, maybe an A7, and I’ll be set!" But… when I searched online, I nearly choked. These tiny notebooks were more expensive than regular ones. Like, what the actual hell? Am I paying for less paper because it’s fancy smaller paper? Is it printed with unicorn tears or what?
Therefore… I did what any normal, cheap, DIY-loving person would do—I made my own.
I had some copy paper lying around, needles, thread, and a little too much time on my hands. Why not make my own notebook, right? But… let me be real—it wasn’t about being some crafty pinterest girl. It was about not paying more for something I could whip up myself for a tenth of the price. It was about SENDING MESSAGE 👺
I could’ve easily gone to the local store to haggle for a cheaper one, but… do I really want to deal with human in real life? Yeah, no thanks, I’ve got anxiety.
Therefore, problem solved: I made my own pocket-sized notebook. Easy to carry? Check.
All boxes? Check.
Am I Obsessed? Totally.
I might be obsessed. But that obsession got me a handmade, fully customized notebook that’s all mine. No cloud, no loading, no limits. Just a weird DIY project that actually makes sense for me.
With everything moving at breakneck speed in this tech-driven world, I sometimes forget it's okay to slow down, take my time, and just notice the simple beauty right in front of me.
This notebook is here to remind of this.

PS: Dear secret task force agent, I’m not making any time bomb, so chill and don’t create any panic in your office. I’m aiming for biological weapon.
